The Network Story
Chapter I: The Discovery
An adventurer exploring the wilderness of Hytale discovers an enormous abandoned portal hidden deep within a forest, surrounded by ancient ruins. Venturing deeper, they find "Griffin's Writings," an ancient book that reveals the portal was built to reach Agartha—the realm of paradise. According to Griffin's accounts, the portal requires Moscovium, a rare material that doesn't exist naturally and was originally obtained through dark rituals and forbidden ceremonies.
Chapter II: The Quest Begins
Inspired by Griffin's accounts, the adventurer decides to reach Agartha. However, raw Moscovium must be refined into crystals to power the portal. These crystals disintegrate over time, so the refinement must be completed quickly. Griffin's book contains dark rituals—daily, weekly, and monthly missions—that grant Moscovium to craft the crystals needed to activate the ancient gateway.
Chapter III: Seasonal Crystals and Missions
Each season brings special missions to obtain crystals, offering unique rewards. Those who collect 100 crystals by season's end gain the opportunity to open the portal to Agartha. Each season introduces different crystal types, eliminating the previous season's crystals. The first season's "Wildlife Crystals" mark the beginning of the journey in Hytale's Zone 1, as adventurers search for the perfect crystal to reach Agartha.
Chapter IV: The Portal Event and Failure
When the season ends, those who collected enough crystals gather for the portal event. However, the portal fails—instead of Agartha, it transports adventurers to another dimension entirely. The Wildlife Crystals were not the correct key. The journey to Agartha requires the perfect crystals, which must be found in future seasons.
Chapter V: The Continuing Quest
Now, the adventurers must find their way back and attempt to open the portal once more, this time using a different type of crystals. Each season brings new opportunities, new crystals, and new challenges. The quest for Agartha continues, as adventurers refine their methods and search for the perfect combination that will finally unlock the gateway to paradise.
